Dancing Baby

Filed under: Pregnancy — Norris @ 7:44 pm

Baby decided to do a dance tonight… probably from glee over the sugar in the boston cream pie that Cheri had for dessert. Baby being active and dancing around is not anything new. What was new tonight… Dad could seriously feel Baby moving around! A couple of other times there was the thought that maybe that was Baby moving, but this time there was NO doubt. Cheri so wanted a camera to capture the moment, but there wasn’t one handy.

It’s a Girl!

Look at the face!

Today Baby had her second photo session! The biggest news … it’s a GIRL! So Marilyn’s think pink theme is now official. The doc saw nothing to give us any reason to need the dreaded amnio test. Things are still looking good! Check out more pics by clicking here!

Burning Plastic

Filed under: Family — Norris @ 6:01 pm

Breakfast on Friday the 13th was interesting. First the griddle was set too hot, so the pancakes burned. Next a spatula slipped on the stove … did you know they will actually flame? Of course the sausage had to burn as well. So it took two tries to make breakfast this morning. Fortunately the rest of the day went well. So tonight we’re at the Ramada across the street from the Mall of America with two tiny beds and half a shower. Tomorrow is baby & maternity shopping time.

Happy Mother’s Day

We’re officially halfway to Baby’s due date!!! It’s all downhill from here, right?

So for Mother’s Day (and Mother-to-be Day), here’s a much requested tummy shot. Cheri may never allow another one, so enjoy it while you can.

Last night Cheri enjoyed her first bites of Godiva ice cream in over two years. Based on Baby’s reaction, there’s a good chance we’ve got a girl. Only a female would start dancing around over something so simply incredible.

Strolling and Sleeping

Filed under: Pregnancy — Norris @ 12:57 pm

We got out and went strolling around the block with Bindi. Our only problem is Bindi knows the word “stroll” and she get’s excited everytime she hears it. We’ve got to quit using that word until Baby comes so she won’t associate a “stroller” with her walks.

Cheri now has one fewer scheduled meal each day. Fortunately it was the 2:30am one that got dropped. Now everyone in the house has a better chance to sleep through the night.
